Anthony Moreton Group is a boutique property finance and investment company. We specialise in providing innovative finance solutions for larger scale property developments and investments.

Our company was established in 2001 initially to service the mezzanine finance needs of property developers and investors. Since that time the business has become more sophisticated including the securing of an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL 247295) in 2004 which allows the operation of an ASIC approved funds management business.

Anthony Moreton Group is Queensland based, servicing the needs of both local and national clients who include some of Australia 's pre-eminent:

What We Do

Structured Property Finance 

Anthony Moreton Group’s Structured Property Finance division specialises in providing tailored project and/or investment finance solutions for property transactions. This can be in the form of structuring, arranging, managing and/or the provision of:

  • senior debt;
  • junior and mezzanine debt;
  • preferred equity;
  • venture capital;
  • private equity/joint ventures; and
  • direct property origination.

We specialise in funding large scale property developments and investments. Whether your project is commercial, retail, industrial, or residential, our experienced team can quickly assess your requirements and individually structure a financing solution to meet your needs.

Since July 2001, our Structured Property Finance division has successfully placed over $2 billion in funding into projects with an end value of approximately $4 billion. 

Our clients include many well known industry leaders. 




Anthony Moreton Group Funds Management Limited holds an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL 247295). As a licensed responsible entity, we are authorised to operate both direct property schemes and mortgage schemes. Since establishment in November 2004, we have managed approximately $325 million for our investors.

Primary Objective : Our objective is to deliver consistently high returns that are commensurate with the risk profiles of our investors.

Investment Strategy : Principal operations involve raising wholesale funds for investment as leveraged debt in property investment and development projects. This can comprise:

  • junior debt;
  • mezzanine debt;
  • preferred equity; and
  • venture capital.

Structure : We operate under a Board and also have an independent compliance committee to ensure appropriate corporate governance and risk management procedures are adopted and implemented. 

Dealflow : Our primary deal flow is sourced through Anthony Moreton Group's Structured Property Finance division. Additionally, we have the ability to co-invest with other fund managers in property projects that meet our investment criteria.
